In recent years, due to the increasing frequency of extreme climates, climate change and environmental issues have once again become the focus around the world. Major multinational companies, including semiconductor industry, chemical industry, and high-end consumer product industry, are also in response to this global green logistics and environmental protection trend. CTW, as the logistics partner of many large Asia chemical manufacturers, it is not only working together on green logistics and carbon emissions optimization, but also in response to CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Devoting to provision of environment friendly and clean energy, CTW has installed solar photovoltaic systems on the roofs of the two buildings of its Airport Logistics Park, with the power generation reaches 1950KW.

Besides the solar panels, the lighting in CTW logistics centers across Taiwan has also been changed from mercury lamps to LEDs to reduce 80% energy waste. CTW also promotes to reuse the packaging materials to avoid unnecessary resource consumption. In order to reduce the waiting time and exhaust emissions, CTW introduces truck dock scheduling that suppliers can make reservations in advance and arrive at the designated time to reduce their waiting time and the exhaust gas generated by vehicles idling. It creates a win-win situation by increasing the logistics center dock scheduling efficiency.

CTW Kaohsiung LIC is located in southern Taiwan, which is relatively prone to experience water shortages. So, CTW introduces a water reused system to water the garden by using air-conditioning water.

CTW owns its own fleet, more than half of car bodies have been replaced with new European car bodies, which not only reduces NOx (nitrogen oxide) by more than 28%, but also reduces harmful particles by more than 80%. For delivery route planning, the transportation management system is also used to coordinate and allocate the fleet. Since the introduction, each trip has significantly reduced the mileage.

Under the impact of global warming and climate change, CTW strives to work with its benchmark partners in various fields to achieve the goal of sustainable operation in future.
