History and development

CTW Logistics Corporation is committed to provide the customers with professional 3rd party logistics services, which are including all the supply chain activities from the import-and-export transportation managements, customs brokerage, warehousing, VMI, handling, picking, packing, value-added services, return-purchase handling, and JIT delivery services, by taking care of all the logistics activities with one-stop solutions so CTW is dedicated to provide the customers with the professional, diverse, customized logistics services to help customers to decrease their logistics costs and enhance their overall operation performances.

1977年,草創時期的第一棟倉庫

CTW’s parent company was established in 1974 by the current Chairman, Mr. John J. Huang. The trucking business were CTW’s main business at the early stage of the establishment. In view of the transformation of Taiwanese business models, CTW expanded the business from trucking into the traditional warehousing; then started modern logistics business. Afterwards CTW became a bonded international logistics center. CTW Logistics Corporation was established in 2012 and focused on the 3rd party logistics business and on Oct. 1 of the same year the parent company became the holding company instead(i.e. CTW Holdings Corporation). There are another two CTW’s affiliated companies, which are including Ho Tung Transportation Co., Ltd. to provide the container and truck transportation services and including Huan Pack Corp. to provide the packing services.

CTW will continue to provide the customers with the professional logistics services and hopes to become the world-class benchmark in the logistics industry.

2018
CTW developed a 3D vision recognition picking system in collaboration with a well-known robot manufacturer and this robot application is introduced by National Geographic Channel on TV program.
2017
CTW is the first logistics provider that leads and organizes chemical substance joint prevention organization in Taiwan.
2015
CTW has built the largest 3PL dangerous-goods warehouse, with different storage temperature and customized temperature control; besides the warehouse building is equipped with high-standard fire extinguishing equipment, in compliance with DG regulations.
2013
CTW developed the Logi-Intelligence service platform with「control tower」concepts to integrate the import-and-export shipment services, to increase the service satisfaction and trust of global customers.
2012
CTW's parent company was transformed to a holding company., and established a new subsidiary named CTW Logistics Corporation.
2011
CTW achieved「Labor Safety, Health Improvement and Investment Excellent Enterprise Award」by National Labor Affairs Council.
2010
CTW Chairman, Mr. John J. Huang represented TALM (Taiwan Association of Logistics Management) to get the right to host 「2011 IFWLA Annual Convention」in Taipei.
2010
CTW achieved 「Everlasting Excellent Enterprise Award」by Taoyuan County Government.
2008
CTW Kaohsiung international logistics center was the first ILC in Taiwan to be granted the dangerous goods storage permission.
2007
CTW Kaohsiung international logistics center was established.
2007
CTW provided logistics services to the world famous musical「Mamma Mia」.
2006
CTW established Taoyuan Airport Logistics Park (bonded/non-bonded) near the international airport. CTW received the first International Logistics Center branch license in Taiwan.

CTW won the honor of “Excellent Logistics Services Provider of the Year” from the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
2005
CTW was the first logistics service company in Taiwan granted Fire Safety Building Certification.
2005
CTW Chairman Mr. John J. Huang was re-elected as the President of Taiwan Logistics Management Association.
2003
CTW provided logistics services of SARS protection materials for the Health Department of Taiwan Government.
2003
CTW provided delivery service for the exhibition “The Treasures of the Emperors” for the National Palace Museum.
2003
CTW Chairman Mr. John J. Huang was elected as the President of Taiwan Logistics Management Association.
2001
CTW set up the headquarters in Taoyuan and received the first International Logistics Center license in Taiwan.
2001
CTW implemented Infor WMS software system and was the first 3PL service provide to implement in the logistics industry. CTW built AS/RS System and was the first 3PL service provider to build AS/RS in logistics industry.
2000
Mr. John J. Huang represented the Taiwanese logistics industry at APEC, and addressed a speech at the Seminar on Logistics Management.
1998
The CTW Foundation was established, actively participating in social and cultural preservation.
1997
The Hsin-chu Logistics Center was established.
1997
CTW provided delivery services to the National History Museum.
1993
The Taichung Logistics Center was established.
1993
Taichung Huan Pack Corp. was established, providing professional packing services for exporting goods.
1990
The Hsin-chu Logistics Center was established - the first gas storage warehouse in Taiwan.
1990
CTW implemented air-suspension container with Humidity and Temperature Control Transportation.CTW provided delivery services to the National Palace Museum for paintings from the Louvre Museum.
1989
CTW's affiliated company Huan Pack Corp. was established, a joint venture company with Japan Packing Co., providing professional packing services for exporting goods.
1984
The Yang-Mei logistics center was established.
1980
The Yang-MMr. John J. Huang established the Taoyuan Transportation Association, and was the first and second president.ei logistics center was established.
1979
The Kaohsiung logistics center was established.
1974
CTW was founded in Yangmei district of Taoyuan city, dedicated in trucking business.
